HOW CAN I OPEN THE PUMP FILTER ON MY ARISTON A1635 ?

MY ARISTON A1635 WASHING MACHINE WON'T DRAIN INDICATING THAT THE PUMP FILTER NEEDS TO BE CLEANED.PROBLEM IS IT WILL ONLY TURN 180 DEGREES ANTICLOCKWISE BEFORE JAMMING NO MATTER WHAT I DO IT WON'T BUDGE ANY MORE.THE PUMP FILTER IS FLIMSY PLASTIC SO I DON'T WANT TO BREAK IT OFF.
