lift mechanism is in down position and won't raise?
I bought a Q400 RTA cabinet with lift mechanism, now the lift won't raise. Took the machine out of cabinet
and tried to force it to raise by pulling upward. This did not work. I just need to get it up so I can set machine on top of the cabinet and be able to sew.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks e roller
Not sure of the make of cabinet but if you have a spring lift mechanism keep your hands away from the top if you pull the lever, it sounds like the lever is not coming back far enough to release it from the notch, have a good look to see.
