my dryer trips the fuse as soon as i turn it on??

I would think you have an earth leakage thru your dryer somewhere or a faulty trip.Does your fuse box have an RCD fitted ?

hi jo well let me try to help you im an electresion lets start with the plug and cable is there any damage if so might need replacing then the socket an earth come loose or live loose this would cause whats known as an open circute the rcd that protects that circute some times breaks its meckanicall internal springs rendering it usless causing the main breaker to act to prevent any damage to your house if you contact a part p qulifiade sparks get him or her to do these checks and repair if nessesery an a electrical test should be part of the fault finding. ps if you can check the plug for damage and replase if nessary
