Toilet Handle Repair?

Hi there,

I have just moved into a plce with a weird toilet. It is part of a Spring suite and I believe that the company no longer exists. However the toilet handle is just hanging off, it looks like the wrong handle, plastic threaded no good will not stay in place. The syphon wire also looks bent to hell. The basin is also strange, at the top right hand side is a large lip but I am worried that its too big for handlle and one wont stay in place further down is a hole where I am sure the original handle was but the hole looks too small. The flush works fine, so I am sure that all that needs replacing is the handle and the syphon wire. Any ideas which handle and how to remove the old syphon wire as its hooked right in to the valve below. Thanks.
