My washer tube is full of water and it want spin out?

I was washing a load of clothes, when it got to the spin cycle the washer cut off. Now my tube is full of water and it want spin out. I cut the washer off and back on, I can hear the motor running but the tube will not spin.

could be pump, easy to remove, if possible take machine outside remove pump and empty machine, cost £20 to £30 easy to replace
