my Thompson 160gb digital tv recorder wont work after a power cut?

Can any one help?

After a power cut last night my Thompson 160gb Digital TV Recorder wont work. There is no power to it at all, we have changed the fuse and tried a new lead and nothing works. Has anyone got any ideas what could be wrong? Its about a year and a half old so dont want to buy a new one!
