Mend Polaroid DVD 1002A Replace Power Player

Replace power receptacle?

My kid somehow pushed the power receptacle on the side of my Polaroid DVD 1002A player and I need to take the unit apart to see if I can adjust it back into its proper place. Now when I try to plug in the power cord it just wiggles around and won't make contact. Any advice on how to remove the case and expose the receptacle?
