how can i repair a Service dryer M2001 which fails to start?

the drum turns when given a gentle push in either direction and will run for varying amounts of time but not more than 60 seconds, when it stops there is a humming sound but no revolving drum until I push the drum again to start it revolving. the electric motor appears to be OK and the drum runs smoothly when turning
