i have a servis easi logic 1000 that has started giving off a tcp type smell when on a hot wash. it tripped out the house electrics and there was smoke coming out. this all stopped when i stopped the cycle but now when i turn the machine on the water keeps coming into the powder tray. any ideas??
i have had this exact problem, upon opening the machine i have found somecarefull as kind of board to the bvottom rigth of the machine where a wiring cable block has melted and possibly been on fire!
be very carefull though as im pretty sure if it had gone up in flames it would be so dangerous.

Each time I start a wash and it is filling up, water leaks and seems to be coming from undenreath but cant see what is causing it. Any ideas?

I'd be very careful. Mine caught fire last night and has had this smell for a couple of weeks prior. This is the 2nd one that has done this. THe only reason I had a second one is because it was a replacement under the warranty.
