egr valve?

hi this is ofen the hrottle body been dirty and the small less than 1mm drilling being blocked by dirt, remove throttle body and cleann with carb cleaner, chances are this will fix the problem

I have an 06 plate Zaifira 1.9 cdti 150 sri, and for the second time this year been landed with a bill from vauxhall of almost a grand, the first bill was the dpi fillter and this week the manifold has gone, luckley i have full service history so vauxhall are making a contribution but i still need to find £400 this time and £420 last time, the car has 68000 miles as we use it every day but just over three years old and it goes wrong all the time it had 3 egr valves under warranty, i think vauxhall know there are all these faults with it so they want to cover it up by buying us off, we want to get vauhall to buy the car off us but they say its because it has high mileage, friday night monday morning car if you ask me.

I have a 2002 1.8i Zaifira, which had similar problems. As you are spending months, replacing all the sensors that could cause the proble. In the nen I went a comapany called 'Idependent Vauxhall Service' based in Binley, Coventry. They looked at it and diagnosed the engine management box has gone faulty, cost £350 to replace it. Sorry, bad news just before Xmas.
