how do i bleed a hydraulic system on great dane ride on mower?

hi i have a great dane chariot zero turn hydro drive mower, and I split a hose on drive wheel motor. I have fixed hose now only drives on one side, have tried to bleed the air out is there a special sequence to doing this, what are the tricks or would the drive motor need repair.

jack up both wheels. open both free wheal ports on pumps. fill reservoir. start motor. work leavers slowly till air is out. refill reservoir.
