Why won't the battery stay charged? Mazda 1990 626 MY name Mary. ?

I just replaced the alternator twice and the battery cables, the battery is still draining.

What tests did you do before replacing the alternator(s)?
What was/were the alternator outputs at low and high revs/loads?
Did you do a drain test to check if something was staying live and flattening the battery?
Did you test the battery to make sure it is capable of holding the charge?
