How can i change the rear drivers lamp on Mazda MX5?

I have removed the inner carpet on the 2001 model MX5 and need to replace the rear lamp on the drivers side. I see two bolts? WHAT NEXT?
on the other side i just need to change a bulb. do i need to open up the whole unit?
