Loose button on Bose Radio CD?

Hi, I have a Bose Wave Radio CD (old type with buttons on top). One of the buttons has come loose and is detached from the unit. Does not seem damaged, but it will not go back into place - just remains loose and falls out. Is there a trick to refixing it?
