my tumble dryer works for a while then the heat stops and it tumbles cold?

The problem is the thermal fuse is tripping in too early. It could be that the filters are blocked or not enough air is being exhausted out of the dryer causing it to overheat and trip the thermal fuse. It's there to safeguard and switch off the heating elements if the thermal fuse gets too hot. If the filters are clear and there is a good flow of air-then the thermal fuse will have to be replaced.
