you could try checking there s not a blockage from the fuel filter vectras need a good blast of fuel to get them going also try injection cleaner the next time you fill up to clean the injection system the spark plugs could also need changing have one of them removed there should be only light greyish deposits on the ends if they are black and oily its time the car was offf to the garage for a good service
