Dyson DC01 vacuum filter clogs badly after one hoovering?

I have had my Dyson DC01 since Dyson first came out. Had no real trouble with it. But recently having real trouble with the filters the top filter gets very black and the side filter clogs up really quickly and badly. Have taken it to repairers three times but they cannot find problem. Please help I love my Dyson DC01.
