Thanks for the quick response CK.
I forgot to mention there was no heat during the 10-15 minutes when it did come on !!
Anyway I opened the machine last night. Previosuly I have only needed to open the top panel so it was good to see someone had posted some instructions on how to open the rear panel to gain access to and remove the Condenser Tank. Could have done it but at 10pm easier for me to read someone elses instructions ;o))
The Tank looked OK but I took it out and ran water through it a lot of clothes fibres and gunk came out.
Wiring (2 x Orange wires) was sound and 100% OK.
I also cleaned the inside of the black flexible rubber pipe that connects the Condenser to the Drum area.
The Sensor you mentioned sits in this Pipe (I think this is the one you meant??). It was completely covered in dried fluff. I actually thought it was limescale first! Anyway cleaned it off to reveal a shiny metal sensor.
I also checked all the thermostats on the Air Ducting and the actual Air Heating Element. Took out the Element and had a look. All seemed OK to my untrained eye.....
Put it back together. Not able to test whilst the Machine was pulled out as the Water Inlet Pipe does not reach. Tested it this morning and it is working !! Phew....
Thanks again CK and a BIG THANKS to this site !!
