IDL530 dishwasher flooded the kitchen, and now keeps draining and not re-setting. The first green light (to show where it is in the programme) keeps flashing.

If you have water on the bottom plate (and you surely have) it will not reset. Lean the machine slightly to drain the water off & see if it resets then. There is...or has been a bad leak someplace, this needs rectifying.
