Car starts no problem but won't rev pass 2000 rpm misfires and splutters under load stong smell of unburnt fuel
was showing p1288 fault on computer but this code is for a diesel ?

This code is fuel pressure regulation efficiancy(low pressure).I've got same fault on a c5 hpi,fuel pressure is dropping to 20 bar and ems light comes on and goes into limp mode,priced a fuel pressure reg off main dealer over £400

My list shows that code as throttle motor position sensor, but as the car is pre 2001 and so pre EU requirement for the standard EOBD code reporting and the French cars are notorious for not conforming to anything
