Mend Vauxhall Vectra GSI Engine Fuel Pump

whats wrong with my car?

We have a 51 plate vectra gsi and after having the tappets fixed we now have a new problem: Once the petrol drops below a third of a tank the car loses power.Have any idea's?

I'd suggest either the fuel pump is faulty or the swirl pot the pump intake sits in is faulty.
