I tried Ron's method and it worked perfectly in my case. Thanks Ron. In my case the transmitter batteries had run low - therefore lost connection. So, no need to fork out for a new programmer or RF unit, thank the Lord!

The answer is a Drayton +3RF. Compatible with DT20RF receiver gives loads more signal and range. Worcester use badged Drayton stats but this one is only £100 from Screwfix and it gives 6 different temps programmable each day. You get a Drayton receiver which is surplus and you can sell that on ebay.

As a Heating engineer i fit only WB Boilers and this is a common fault with the DT20RF. I was on a WB training course a few weeks ago, where i was also asked about most common faults. This was one many plumber where asking about. I asked if i could overcome this and the answer was basically a no. Wireless sounds great, but it's more trouble than it's worth. So I'm back to using hard wired Roomstats. Ever customer's house that reported this problem had a wireless router for internet use, near by. An if it wasn't in my customers house it was next door. For anybody that has had this DT20RadioFrequancy installed and have the same problems, i suggest you ask the installer to fit a DT20 Wired. A good plumber will do this if you explain the above, Regards

We have a similar problem and it is caused by the RF link to the programmer. Try new batteries and relearn the programmer to digistat and the problem should go away. It seems that this an expected event if connection is lost between the 2 units. Hope this helps
