My saniflo plus mascerator unit has a round opening on the top left corner?
My saniflo plus toilet has a small round opening on the top left corner. Water is comming up through this when it is flushed. Is this supposed to be capped? Does it have function?
This is the air vent, water goes in and the air comes out. Shouldn`t have any water coming out of it

Forgot to add it could be slight blockage so also check if the store has a cleaner suitable.

Only a guess it could be an none return airvent [keeps stink in but lets air in. Check with your local plumbing store ask if that's what it is and is it replaceable.
