how to fix my dishwasher ?

i have a siemens dishwasher. it was working fine ntil yesterday. last night i turned it on and today morning the wash was not complete and its making a noicc when turn it on. normally when you open the door while wash is on, the machine stops. However now when I press the switch it makes the noice before i close the door.

Got an F displayed. If cleaned the items but the there was some water remaining. An engineer came out, broke the plastic cage behind the button panel with his screw driver, put it on, left and my kitchen flooded.

the rotery arm onthe underside of the top shelf has come off and there's no obvious reason why, dishwasher was not loaded to high on the bottom and I cannot just push fix it back into place - is this repairable or is is too expensive - may as well get a new one territory??

have a siemens sn23. working no problem. however, thought it had finished a cycle - opened the front - saw water at the bottom - shut the front again - switched back on to continue the cycle - but the water has remained. Tried different cycles - no joy in getting rid of the water. It is draining - but not all the water

Raj, it's a bit unclear what you are trying to explain here.
1: it is not adviseable to open the door while the dishwasher is in the middle of doing something.
2: trying to fill in the blanks in your post it sounds like you could have a leak that has activated the flood protection device.
