how can i fix hot tap?

turn off your hot water supply to the tap should be a isolation valve on the pipe turns about half aturn turn the tap on to see if the water comes out if it doesnt come out youve isolated the tap . if it is old style tap u should have a red or h on top of the tap this should prise off and then u can begin to take the tap apart and u should find a thin circular seal/ ring take this to diy shop and buy same size seal and put tap back to gether then turn valve back on this should then work and not drip when u turn the tap off when using the tap
