My machine won't drain?

I had a friend look at my waher, he took two pennies from the black tube on the bottom but now when the pump comes on rather than the washer draining out it runs water right back into the washer?? Can you help so I can just fix it myself.

Hi Holly,
Have you tried clearing out the filter - normally on the bottom front of the machine. Be careful, have something ready to catch the water but its likely that there is something else in the machine and may have found it way to the filter!!
