my radiator won't maintain heat. even after i've bled it and the water started heating the rad when you stop bleeding it it cools down. can you help me?
try what John says you should be able to push the pin down then it should pop straite back up, if not it is stuck, hold it with a pr of plyers and pull it up and downa few times if it pops out just put it back in,

Is there a TRV on one end? If so, take the valve body off and see if the little steel pin pops up.
