Turn off the water supply to the machine, unplug from the mains supply.Lay machine flat on its face(on an old pillow or similar to stop any damage to the front of the machine).Unscrew and remove the tin backing plate. At the bottom of the drum on the right hand side is the pump unit. There is a rubber waste pipe from the drum to the pump held at either end with a sprung wire clip.Compress the clip with a set of water pump pliers and slide back along the waste pipe then release,do the same with the one below the drum and remove the pipe completely.Inside the large end you will find what looks like a table tennis ball. This is a non return valve to prevent waste water passing back into your machine. In the case of my machine the area inside the pipe around this ball was full of slimy crud which was reducing the amount of water getting from the drum to the pump.Put everything in the sink with warm soapy water and cleaned up.Refitting is the reverse of removal, just make sure you get the pipe on securely and don't puncture or rip the pipe.It worked on my machine, hope it works for you.Best of luck, and be careful as I am sure the panels are made of old razor blades!!!!
