Problem with CH only on Ferroli Combi 77 FF boiler?

Hi I have a ferroli combi 77 FF boiler which works fine on DHW and is OK the first time it comes on with CH. However after that I can here it trying to fire up again and after a while it may re-light only to repeat the cycle. I have seen flashes from RL2 which cotrols the fan but if there is a problem with the fan why does the DHW work fine. I would appreciate any help with this problem. The PCB is a VMF6.
