JAGUAR S TYPE LOWER BALL JOINT REMOVAL?

If it's a pre-2002 S type the ball joint is integral with the vertical link and joint & link cannot be bought seperately, they are not interchangeable with later suspension.

Luckily the price for these parts has come down a lot.

Can anyone supply a step by step guide to removal & replacement?

Best practice would be to remove suspension link complete (disconnect all ball joints )top bottom and track rod end, remove calliper and brake assembly then take it to an engineering shop or good mechanic and have it pressed out and new one fitted, also good idea to check the wheel bearing hub as if this is worn would be good to do both at same time if you are any good with spanners and a socket set this should take you no more than 1 hour to dismantle alway support the car sensibly

Buy a Powerbuilt 648617 Balljoint Remover/Installer Tool Kit, it has all what you need to do the job, thats what I did.
