Mend Hotpoint 9304 Heating Element Belt

hotpoint dryer 9304 have heating problem?

have replaced original dryer as the operating belt had broken...a friend gave me same model which had a door spigot broken...replaced door however heating does not work..have now replaced from old machine the switch, element and thermosat which was working fine from my old machine...still not working (heating)..can you advise???
