How to change battery on KLIK radio controlled bell alarm?

In the changeover from analogue to digital in our area, on the dot of 12 the clock stopped. This may be co-incidental, but not sure. We changed the battery but cannot get it going. All it did is move hands fairly quickly through the 12hr cycle and end/stop at 12 again.
Help!
