Mend Problems Fitted Front

Faulty door cylinders?

Suspect problems with door cylinders fitted to my upvc front door. I am unable to remove the keys when the door is unlocked, but ok when locked. Same fault discovered on two previous occasions & rectified by changing the cylinder. What is causing this fault ? cylinders still look ok !
