my tumble dryer is situated in a small utility room. when it is in use the room becomes really really hot and the clothes are taking a long time to dry. any ideas what could cause this problem?
Only lack of ventilation, especially if your dryer is a front venter...ideally the steam exhaust needs to go to outside, and plenty of air needs to surround the thing in the utility room, so leave the door open.
