do you know which 5 1000uf 16v you purchased from ebay as im having same fault on my tv. i didnt want to touch them until replacing and they are bulging.

i have just had the same problem with my Cello TV. i got 5 1000uf 16v from Ebay for less than a pound. fitted the capacitors easy. now works fine. thanks for the advice.

Check the power supply, at the top of it there are some 1000uF capacitors, these will more than likely be bulging at the top or have a brown disharge coming from them.

Common Fault, just replace them. Or upgrade them if you don't want it to happen again.
