Mend Homelite d830 Throttle Engine Rev

Trottle line came loose, where does it go?

I have a Homelite d830 gas trimmer. When I pull the throttle, engine doesn't rev. I see the loose metal line for the throttle isn't hooked up to anything. There is a metal oval piece on the end of the line, and I can't see where it attaches. There is a flat, movable plate with holes in it, but metal bulb won't fit through it to connect. Is this were it goes?
