Mend FMT FMTC 10TSL Saw Wont Start

Table saw won't start?

Last time I switched off the saw(Performance 254mm table saw, FMTC 10TSL) the motor brake didn't work and the blade took a long time to stop. Then the saw would not start. I have checked fuses and the overload cut-out. The switch clicks on and off as if the current is reaching it, but the motor is dead. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
