The hydraulic filter is positioned on the front offside behind a hinged door. It's quite a large filter, approx 2ft long and about 9" diameter. You don't need to drain down the entire system, instead position the machine with all rams extended where possible to help prevent syphoning. Remember to chock the loader arms!!!
Undo the housing in which the filter is situated but be prepared for about a gallon of oil to flow out as you remove the filter. There is a long bolt which runs up the middle of the filter casing and possibly a U-bolt to secure the casing in place as well.
Top up the hydraulic oil afterwards.
