I have a Speedflight 2002 xrace 49cc and i took it to bike shop as it would not start and needs a new MOT but no they are asking for the RED key, which i used to have but have lost in a house move. What could i do to ask them to get around this? All i would like is the bike to start again and dont mind if the imbloser is not ative etc? Can anyone advise me please as im really stuck...Thanx Lee
I see, and Thank you for getting back to me.... I have seen a CDI on ebay for £50 and wonder if i fit this will i still be able to use my normal black key for starting the bike etc? Thanx Lee

you can buy a CDI which bypasses the imob. Cheaper than an original one with red key. If you have lost your red key these are only options.
