Mend Creda Advance Hot Longer Dry

Creda Advance tumble dryer not getting hot enough?

The dryer has started to take longer to dry a full load. Water is still collecting ok. It does have a 'gentle' heat setting but this is not selected. Could it have got stuck on this setting anyway?
