Does anyone know how to reset an immobilser. Having problems starting my renault clio, starts sometimes and not others been told its the immobilser, would love to know how. Renault Clio Alize 16v.
Hi thanks for your answer, light does not flash so it should be something else. I have now discovered that its my crank shaft sensor thats sending no signal, but its cost me £75.00 just find the problem i had to have a diagnostics test and it showed this problem, i have just informed my mechanic and he is going to change it, but he is still going on about the immob. would this test show if its the immob also, forgot to ask the mechanic?

When the car fails to start is the immo light flashing?
It should if it's an immo problem, if the light is not flashing there is something else wrong with the car.
