HOW CAN I STOP IT FROM EMPTYING OUT WATER EVEN WHEN ITS JUST STARTED A CYCLE? IT STARTED DOING IT AFTER IT OVERFLOWED ONCE BEFORE, BUT NOW IT JUST WONT STOP DOING IT.
Baileys Cream answer has just worked for me - wasn't sure what the issue was as the dishwasher was taking water but not starting the wash programme. Was rather confused as the machine was still running but not really doing anything (don't have the manual). Did the tilt and it's sorted now. Cheers Baileys!

Posibily the flood protection has brought the drain pump on.
SWITCH OFF AND PULL PLUG OUT FIRST
Pull machine out tilt backwards at 45deg to see if water runs out of base
IF IT DOES THEN THIS WILL CURE THE PROBLEM
