till bleeps all the time as soon as plugged in ?

hi, We had a recent break in and they tried to take the till but dropped it!! so it is still in tact no apparent damage to casing etc, when it is turn on at socket in beeps all the time with out turning the key, i have stripped it down and can not see any damage to circuit boards any ideas? thanks it is an ER-290

Hi. It may be due to the key in the wrong position. Try turning the key to each position. If it stops in a certain position (besides off mode) then you may have to finish in that mode first. If this doesen't help, please confirm brand and model, and I'll try to help further.
