I have a fax machine that leaves straight black lines on the page?

this is very common problem with faxes,two possible causes.one is , when you copy something which had tipex on it that tipex goes through two mirrors and it will leave its mark on the mirror,therafter every time you send fax or recive it will leave black mark. second cause same sort of problem when you send a fax with tipex on it it will give you same faults.
only way to remove is to take it apart and remove it physically
