The front wipers on my Renault megane are not working?

Remove the wiper motor and carefully seperate the two halves , on the plastic half there is a copper earth very small only about 2mm clean it with a wire brush or emery cloth. Reasemble and refit the motor it's a fidly job but that's all it is the earth connection oxidise

Yes. I am having the same problem. I think it is a common fault with Megane's. A mechanic has recently looked over my car and has diagnosed it as a fault with the starter motor itself. You could probably have it fixed as a temporary measure but would be better to have it fixed properly. This unfortunately means replacing the part itself. Expect to pay £181 for a new motor and 2 hours labour costs!
