Mend Beko Switch Button

tv keeps blinking?

i have a beko television and for some reason when i switch it on at the main button it goes into standby and the led keeps flashing. The remote wont turn it on but if i hold two of the buttons on the face of the tv then it switches on. upon turning off with remote it goes back to this state. it is doing my head in. please help.
