MAP OR MAF?

Hi John,

No they are totally different but perform the same function in providing the ecu with a figure of how much air is comming into the engine, the MAP sensor does this by measuring the absolute pressure in the inlet manifold (Manifold Absolute Pressure) and the MAF sensor measures the air flow to the inlet manifold (Mass Air Flow)
