HOW DO I FIX MY TDL 30 HOTPOINT TUMBLE DRIER?

hi there, have same problem, repairman i know says that particlular model is notorius for it. Try lifting lid off the top and look where drum rests each end, on mine one end has stuff that looks like foam between the drum and what it rests on when it turns and at the other end of it the foam has worn away and the metal is scraping on metal making a very loud sound. Have contacted hotpoint as i'm not happy, only had it a couple of years. i suggest you do the same. I'm kicking up a fuss about it coz i expected it to last for years, even if they repair it, it'll probably happen again as the design is faulty. hope this helps My e-mail is ruthmillward77@hotmail.com
