Mend Door Open Unlock

How can I fix my PVC locking mechanism?

I have a french door to my garden which is stuck on its frame and I cannot open it.

While I can unlock the door, I cannot open it as the catch or bolt on the top part of the door appears to be stuck. The catch or bolt on the lower part of the door appears to work (i.e. I can engage or disengage it).

How do I get it sorted? Thanks for your help.
