Check the battery voltage.
Check the fuse on the battery cable (if fitted) and the other main fuses.
If they are OK get a single jump lead, clip one end on to the battery negative, clip the other end to a solid piece of metal on the engine, usually the bracket for lifting the engine out.
If the car starts with this cable fitted you have an earth problem.
Check all earth wire connections, eg battery negative post to chassis, engine to chassis.
Do not drive the car with the jump lead in place, this is a test method not a cure!!
When the car is running test the alternator output.
